Engineering Preliminary Calculations
We offer, free of charge, prelim engineering design to all our clients. We often get plans or designs back to re-engineer, as the designer does not understand the most cost-effective way of meeting clients needs, and the project has run over budget.
Don't waste your time and money, get the basic design and structural elements correct first with us.

HFC have extensive experience in the design of commercial office and industrial buildings from large single storey steel framed structures through to multi-storey reinforced concrete buildings
All designs are provided with a PS1: Design Producer Statement.
The engineers also carry out site inspections during construction, and a PS4: Construction Review Producer Statement is issued on completion, ensuring your building has been independently certified by the most trusted engineers in the field.
HFC work closely with us to ensure a well-coordinated design is achieved, and construction on site proceeds smoothly, resulting in quality landmark buildings.
HFC regularly carry out peer reviews for other structural engineers and local councils. Our team of experienced engineers work closely with the design engineer to ensure that all issues raised are resolved in a pragmatic and timely manner to ensure a smooth consent process, often this involves independently modelling the buildings to provide a truly independent check of the design.

PM vist Te Horo
We had a vist from our local MP Nathan Guy and John Key. They were both very relaxed and John took questions from the children which was pretty funny. The hall is being built under the ministrys' budget for a hall for this size, so they are all very interested in our construction systems, and how we can achive this for the school.

PROCESSING PLANT
Steel shed systems have completed the Commercial processing meat plant in Porirua. This building was a mixture of freezers and cool rooms, with insulation panel and conventional claddings. Mike was very patient in communicating during the design and Budgeting of our project.
